Neil Hilborn

So a while back I came across a poem called The Future doing the rounds on Facebook and quickly found myself hooked on Neil Hilborn’s emotional and oh-so relatable poetry. Last night I was lucky enough to see him perform his poetry live at the Edinburgh Fringe for the second year in a row. And for the second time I was able to get my copy of his book signed and even have a chat after the show. His poetry was as gripping and powerful live as it seems to be on YouTube and my friend and I were both strangely moved and elated by the time we left the show. I would highly recommend checking out his gigs if he does one in your area. Here’s a wee link to The Future which will do far better at making my point than I can: The Future – Neil Hilborn

This is obviously not a book review post but I couldn’t resist sharing how amazing the gig was and I did buy a book…
